Spam?
I couldn't resist posting about these ads for SPAM having just discussed the questionable canned meat at lunch last week. Check out Allan Peters' portfolio for the fun TV spots, as well as some other great work. Doesn't it almost make you want to give SPAM another chance?

The Space Project
Who would have thought that you could visit space without leaving Earth. Or the comfort of your computer chair. Beautiful photos by Vincent Fournier, they're out of this world.

Mixtapers Unite!
As a current mixtaper, this project really excites me. For the past 2 years a group of 5 fellow music lovers and myself have been trading mixtapes cross-city and cross-country on a monthly basis. We're always looking for new music and new artists, and evidently The Middle Distance Runner feels the same way as us!

A Dash of Colour
If you've been to our office at all in the last 8 years you'll know that the walls have never changed from their original white colour. After tossing around the idea for a number of years, we finally decided to roll up our sleeves and freshen the place up a bit. We didn't want to go too crazy with the colour choice, so the consensus was to stick to Neuhaus grey. It's amazing what a dash of colour can do for a space. We have a few more improvements we're working on so check back soon.

Concert Hall Materials Inch Closer to Completion
Keep your eyes peeled for our September launch of the Centennial Concert Hall brand. 16 months in the making, hundreds of hours of R & D, several dozen meetings and a lot of blood sweat and tears have brought us very close to our launch date. We look forward to Phase 1 of development which includes a logo, stationery package, wayfinding signage, uniform creation and a brand manual. More to come in just 2 short weeks.

Container Homes
With a surplus of shipping containers filling ports all over the world, it's no wonder people are using them as a green alternative to building. Shipping containers are durable, inexpensive and can be stacked up to 9 containers high, which makes it easy to start off with a modest size home and add on later down the road. Check out these examples of modern-style shipping container homes. (Even the pool in the second photo is made from a shipping container.)
