Show You Care, Give a Pair

- posted May 2, 2019

The United Way’s Conscious Kindness Day is fast approaching and we’re hoping to be (extra) kind this year. Help create a compassionate, caring community by planning intentional acts of kindness on May 15, 2019.

It’s important to be kind to yourself, the people around you and your community, every single day.

With this in mind, Honest is focusing on something a little cheeky this year; we’re collecting underwear.

Yup. You heard us right.
This is one of the most under-donated and needed items for anyone experiencing homelessness. Siloam Mission has over 17,313 clothing room visits each year and we want to help the cause, however we can.

So, we’re givin’ gitch.

We’re asking all of our clients, suppliers, and other businesses to engage their staff and their own contacts to collect as many pairs of new underwear as possible before Conscious Kindness Day on May 15. All sizes and styles of underwear are welcome.

On your next shopping trip, consider grabbing some gitch and adding them to the collection. It’s the little things that mean the most.

From now until May 14 you can stop by Honest Agency and drop off your donation of new underwear (used gitch isn’t a thing to donate, share, or even talk about — be kind, be clean). You also can arrange for a pick up on May 14.

If you’re on board and want to help us make a difference, drop us an email to let us know. It will help us keep track of who’s interested in participating.

Drop off:

800-191 Lombard Avenue
15 minute parking in the front of the building or call us, and we’ll come down to meet you at your car.

Call or email for pickup:
